This afternoon reconstruction of the murder of Milan (15)

The facts took place on Friday evening 24 September 2021 in the Nieuwenhove district in Oostkamp. During a party for his birthday, Jordy D. (19) got into a fight with the victim in his own home. Bruggeling Milan M. succumbed on the spot to the consequences of the stabbing. During the night, the investigators were able to arrest eleven people present. In the end, only Jordy D. was brought before the investigating judge, who had him arrested on suspicion of murder. Two other men were later arrested: a 21-year-old man from Oostkamp was arrested on suspicion of murder and negligence. AB (19) was also sent to prison by the investigating judge. The Bruggeling was also present in the garage and would have kicked the victim’s head. (read more below the photo)

According to the defense of Jordy D., the incident was part of a protracted drug conflict. In a rip deal, Jordy is said to have stolen 150 grams of cannabis from Milan’s friends. The night of the facts, the victim would have come by to demand money. In his own words, Jordy only defended himself when Milan tried to attack him with an electroshock weapon. He stated that he haphazardly grabbed a weapon that lay in the seat. Meanwhile, DNA research has shown that the offenses were committed with a bayonet. The stab weapon was found two days after the murder in AB’s home (21).

There are currently two suspects in prison, including the suspected perpetrator. This afternoon’s reconstruction should bring more clarity about what exactly happened that evening.
