This morning, about 60 dock workers placed 900 cars from a ro-ro ship ashore in the port of Ostend. This was the third ship with cars in a month to dock in the port, while ro-ro traffic has only just restarted here.
Charlotte Verkeyn: Alderman at the Port of Ostend: “It is not yet a fixed line, we are still working on that, but it is actually a traffic with the transport of cars to the other side of the water, to Grimsby. It is the third boat that we do it now and the collaboration is very nice.”
