The German hockey women made it to the semi-finals early at the European Indoor Championships in Berlin.
The defending champions defeated the Czech Republic 5-0 in the third preliminary round game and are in first place in Group A with three wins and nine points.
The goals for the DHB selection, which competes in the last preliminary round game against Belgium, were scored by Ines Wanner (TSV Mannheim), who scored three times, and Philin Bolle (Münchner SC), who was successful twice.
The hosts had previously won their first two games 4-2 against Spain and 7-2 against Turkey. In the semi-finals on Saturday evening, Germany could face Poland, Austria or Ukraine.
