Once again, the VISTA college reports the suspension of a lecturer for transgressive behaviour. That is the third case since early February.
According to a spokesperson for the school, a former student of the VAVO training in Heerlen has reported a teacher to the police. During her study there would have been ‘serious behaviour’.
Suspicion of criminal offenses
According to the spokesperson, VISTA is also filing a report because of ‘a suspicion of criminal offences’. The teacher has been suspended and the incident has been reported to the Education Inspectorate. The school will not disclose further details about the allegations for reasons of privacy.
Third case
VISTA, a secondary vocational school with locations in Beek, Born, Heerlen, Maastricht, Sittard and Venlo, was also in the news twice in February for this reason. These two teachers have also been suspended and an investigation is underway in both cases.
