Farid Azarkan steps down as political leader of DENK. The current party leader in the House of Representatives is not available as party leader in the elections on 22 November.
He reports this in a video that his party has posted on Twitter.
“It is time for me to make a different choice and do other things,” says Azarkan, who has been a member of parliament for DENK since 2017 and became party chairman in March 2020. He was not immediately available for an explanation of that decision.
