Since last night, recovery workers have been working for hours on recovering a slurry tank full of manure that had ended up in the Hoogeveensche canal near Nieuweroord. The liquid manure tank was attached to a tractor but became detached.
The contents of the slurry tank did not end up in the water. The recovery of the tank took until the night. No one was injured in the accident.
Last Friday something went wrong at the same place near the Hoogeveense Vaart. Then a truck ended up in the water there.
