A thief stole the car of Jolyn from Brunssum on Friday evening. Her four-year-old Chihuahua Spoekie was still in the car, and is now missing.
Jolyn, who is diligently looking for witnesses or descriptions, tells L1.

Jolyn was in Brunssum to pick up her three-month-old son from her parents. She parked her white Peugeot 108 in front of the house in Akerstraat, and noticed that her car suddenly drove away. “I then got into his car with my father and drove behind my car. The thief drove towards the Rembrandtstraat to the outer ring, but we soon lost him.”
Spoekie
Her Chihuahua Spoekie was still in the car when it was stolen. “He’s four years old and I’ve had him for about three years now. He’s microchipped and can be taken to a vet.”
The dog is wearing a black harness with a camouflage pattern.
Law enforcement
Jolyn has since filed a report with the police. They have received CCTV footage and are investigating the incident. “As we could see, it was one man who stole the car. More people wouldn’t have fit in it either. I’m afraid the thief will release Spoekie somewhere in a strange place,” said Jolyn.
