Thieves drive into a jeweler’s car and plunder shop windows

A ram raid took place at the jeweler Lucardi on the Markt in Uden on the night of Monday to Tuesday. The damage was extensive and the perpetrators fled.

The thieves drove a car to pieces the security fence around a quarter past four. They went in and caused massive havoc in the store. According to a police spokesperson, several display cabinets were broken open and jewelry was taken.

The owners of the business saw on camera images that the thieves were inside and called the police. Although they arrived quickly at the scene of the burglary, the thieves still managed to escape. They fled in a gray Audi. It is not yet clear what exactly they stole.
