Thief steals completed exams from KULAK professor

Last Saturday, 20 students took the ‘Introduction to the European Union’ exam, but they will never know their result. On the return journey from Kortrijk to Antwerp, the professor of the subject was robbed. Thieves took his bag with the exams in it. The man tried to stop the thieves in Sint-Niklaas station, but failed. “A set of exams that one of our professors had on the train was stolen in his laptop bag. He reacted immediately, he shouted and followed the thief on the platform. Fellow travelers also intervened, but nothing helped. The thief left with the exam copies, which means we have a case of force majeure,” explains Vice-Rector Piet Desmet.

The students now have to decide whether to retake their exam or have other assignments count towards their final result. The professor has lodged a complaint with the police.
