Thibo Somers extends contract until 2026 at Cercle Brugge

Cercle Brugge’s social media posted a photo yesterday showing a jersey with the letters ‘2026’. The post made many supporters curious about the news from the club. Just before the start of the home game against Standard, Cercle announces the news that Thibo Somers has extended his contract until 2026.

Thibo Somers, together with captain Charles Vanhoutte and Olivier Deman, is one of the favorites of Cercle Brugge. All three come from their own youth academy. Somers has been playing for the Association since he was eight years old.
