Eva Jinek does not want to respond to Johan Derksen’s latest swipe at her address, because she is afraid that he will talk about her again in the next broadcast. “I do not want that.”
For a moment the raging quarrel between Eva Jinek and Johan Derksen seemed to have ended, but nothing could be further from the truth. While he spoke condoning words about her on Friday evening in Today Inside, she simultaneously claimed to Beau that VI editor Sam van Royen lied. He claims that Eve danced on the grave of VI after the season finale of Jinek.
Eve responds
Johan has briefly looked back at Eva’s performance with Beau over the weekend and is already completely done with her. He hit her hard again on Monday. Last week he dismissed her as an ‘uncollegiate bastard’, this time he called Eva hypocritical and cowardly. Public attacks on A-stars like Eva are rare and therefore controversial.
Telegraaf journalist Jordi Versteegden immediately picked up his phone yesterday to call Eva and she also answered. She spoke to him, but did not want to on the record give a substantive response.
‘I don’t want to say anything’
Eva doesn’t want to stoke the fire any further. “Yes, I just had Eva on the phone again and she says: ‘John Jordi, I don’t really want to say anything more about it. I’ve said everything about it and if I’m going to say things again now, they’re going to talk about it again tonight.” Telegraph TV†
What does Jordi think is the solution? “I just think they should sit down together. If they do want to talk talk shows within talk shows, just take the invite, Eva, I’d say. Just sit down with those guys for once. Then you often notice that it is over again.”
toddlerish
The fight is now starting to get a bit immature, according to Jordi. “I think this is a bit preschool-like, also from Derksen to start again.”
“I’m also like: Geez, guys, is there really nothing else to discuss? Do you really need each other, the talk shows, to get ratings? In my opinion, that is simply not necessary at Today Inside.”
AD diva Angela de Jong also complained in VI yesterday about the bickering between Eva and Johan. It is a bit striking though: the entertainment pages of their newspapers are alive with these kinds of riots. And what if no one is arguing with each other on the TV screen? Then they stand in front again to shout that television has become so boring.
