“They should be fired immediately”: 30-year-old woman who had sex with colleagues in prison now also turns out to be a city councilor | Domestic

From orgies in a colleague’s jacuzzi to sex in the warden’s office: the affair in the country’s largest prison caused quite a stir on Monday. The prison management therefore had no choice but to launch an internal investigation into the abuses. But the facts not only threaten to upset the colleagues involved, the prison management is also under fire.

The prison system wants to know, among other things, why they had to learn about the sex scandal via the French-language newspaper ‘Sudinfo’, while “internal action had already been taken”. All prison guards would have been made aware of the code of ethics (read: leaks to the press would not be tolerated).

But that did not stop some colleagues from anonymously testifying about the sex parties organized by other colleagues after working hours. This would include orgies in which each participant drew a lottery ticket to determine who would have sex with whom. One of the employees, P., even made his jacuzzi available for a party attended by about ten guards – including at least three women.

After working hours they can of course do whatever they want, but interrogations revealed that “sexual acts” also took place in the prison itself. A female colleague, S., is said to be the leading lady in the whole affair. According to colleagues, she regularly “borrowed” her department head’s office to indulge her sexual desires with colleagues. “She is a nymphomaniac,” a source testifies. “At 6 o’clock in the morning she announced that she could not work as long as she had not had sex.”

S. is no stranger to the Liège province. The 30-year-old woman has been a municipal councilor for Défi in the municipality of Ans for many years. Both the woman in question and members of the party did not wish to comment in the French-language media. François De Smet, the national chairman of Défi, kept it short. “The person concerned will be heard about the facts of which she is accused,” he explains to colleagues at ‘Sudinfo’. “We will have no further comment in the meantime.”

The mayor of Ans, Grégory Philippin (PS), was able to speak to her in the meantime. “I got her yesterday (Tuesday, ed.) spoke on the phone and she denies the accusations against her,” said the mayor, who emphasizes that it is a private matter “that does not belong in politics.”

Dany Delbart, chairman of the Belgian police syndicate, reacts sharply to the facts. “These people should be fired immediately. The prison management now says that procedures will be followed, but ultimately these people will be transferred to other departments or to prisons where they will do it all again. By their behavior they damage the image of all other civil servants who do good work. They really have no pride.”

Delbart also questions the training that prison staff receive. “People are recruited quickly and haphazardly, sometimes without even having to undergo training. But regardless of this training, it is up to managers to constantly remind them of the basic rules. There is a lack of supervision. And because they know they are not at risk of being fired, this type of behavior is simply repeated.”

According to ‘Sudinfo’, a disciplinary procedure is already underway against S. The woman was also transferred to the women’s department a few weeks ago to “calm her sexual urges”. The other officers will still be interrogated by the prison management.
