Watching powerlessly as the Russians take over their homeland is a bridge too far for many Ukrainians, also in Belgium. And so they trade their comfortable life here for the violence of war over there. One will take care of war victims, the other will save relatives. And another is even going to take up arms. “If the enemy destroys your house, you have the right to defend it.”
