The first player decisions for the mission resurgence have been made despite the still unresolved trainer question.
Hertha’s sports director Benjamin Weber (43) confirms: “We used the time to speak to all the players individually.” The club will be counting on the following leading players in the future – always assuming that the license is obtained:
► Those responsible build up in defense Marton Dardai (21). The U21 international identifies with the club like no other and can also play in defensive midfield.
► Peter Pekarik (36) takes over the part of the standby professionals. He should lead the talents, lead the way on the training ground and in the dressing room. The sample professional serves as a model for the rough diamonds. If they have too much nonsense in their heads, Pekarik should bring them back down to earth.
► Should be in midfield Jean Paul Boetius (29) act as chief strategist. As in the 2-1 win in Wolfsburg, he is planned as a six. He has a good eye, can play great vertical passes and also opens his mouth.
► On the offensive one would like to continue to rely on the services of Mark Richter (25) To fall back on. The bosses appreciate his unconventional way on the pitch, he is always good for surprises, dares to do things that opponents cannot anticipate.
► In the center of the storm Florian Niederlechner (32) already given his assurance for another season. The attacker: “We had several talks weeks ago, they were very good.”
► Jessic Ngankam (22), Derry Scherhant (20) and Maximilian Mittelstädt (26) should also stay. The goalkeeper question is open, Oliver Christensen (24) has not yet signed inquiries from England, Marius Gersbeck (27 / KSC). Marc Kempf (28) has not yet made a decision either.
► Those responsible want to earn money through the sales of Lucas Tousart, Suat Serdar (both 26), Dodi Lukebakio, Wilfried Kanga, Agustin Rogel (all 25).
There will be exciting weeks until the start of training on June 26th.
