Evening News reported on Saturday that Rauma Lukon Tarmo Reunanen said to the KalPa player “fucking hint”.
The SM league’s disciplinary delegation has not yet announced what punishment Reunanen will receive.
The situation happened in Friday’s KalPa-Lukko match. The jury announced after a quick meeting that Reunanen was awarded a match penalty.
First, in the Kuopio hall, the reason was announced as “racist behavior”. Moments later, “unsportsmanlike behavior” was noted in the match minutes as the reason.
In Luko’s announcement, Reunanen denied having used terms referring to skin color, nationality, ethnic origin or descent.
Reunanen, who is one of the league’s star players, is not in Luko’s lineup on Saturday against Kärppi.
