The GGD announced on Monday that some test locations are closing or moving, because few people are currently being tested for the corona virus.
The vast majority of people with a positive self-test no longer need to go to the GGD for official confirmation. Anyone who needs a proof of recovery still has to go to a GGD test location. Below is an overview of test locations that can be visited for the time being.

North Limburg
The GGD has four test locations in the middle and north of the province: in Oostrum (De Voorde 40), in Blerick (Garnizoenweg 3) and in Echt (Nobelweg 19). From Wednesday 13 April, a new location will be added in Weert (Fuutstraat 6). The test location in Nederweert will then be closed.
Open daily
Opening hours of the test locations are here to watch. At all four locations, people can have themselves tested daily between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. without an appointment.
South Limburg
In South Limburg, people can go to three different test locations: in Heerlen (Palemigerbord 401), in Geleen (Hofkamp 31) and in Maastricht. This will be located at Paul-Henri Spaaklaan 2 until Sunday 17 April. After that, this location will close and people can have themselves tested at Akersteenweg 10 in Maastricht. Please note: in South Limburg, testing is only possible on appointment†
From 6737 to 189
The number of people who have themselves tested these days is only a fraction of the number who visited the GGD around carnival. The day after the fixed date, 6737 came to a test street; yesterday there were only 189. In view of the costs associated with opening, the GGD is closing more and more large test locations.
