These cartoons can save relationships

The Austrian “Titanic” artist and cartoonist Nicolas Mahler is primarily known for his brilliant comic versions of great literary classics. No one else would have dared to do “The Man Without Qualities” and “In Search of Lost Time” without having to fear scolding from the features section. His absurd, unfussy style helps him, which may initially seem naïve – but only through its radical (some call it Kafkaesque) simplification invites you to see supposed certainties in a new light.

However, one of Mahler’s passions is still drawing pointed cartoons on smaller and larger everyday topics. In addition to anecdotes about old age (“In the future we will all look old”), there is also this volume presented here on the greatest subject of mankind: love. A mean little relationship work guide where man and woman are guaranteed to talk past each other.
