These are the nominees of De Ensors 2023

Until 17 January, the 1,700 members of the Ensor Academy will vote to determine the winners of De Ensors 2023. The best audiovisual fiction, documentary and animation will be awarded an Ensor during that evening. Find out here who the nominees are in the 22 different categories.

From November 24 to December 22, the active film and television professionals of the Ensor Academy could cast their vote during the first round of voting.

Most of the year’s nominations go to Close and Zillion. No fewer than 14 nominations managed to cash in on the films. Close and Zillion are followed closely by Rebel (11 nominations) and the fiction series: Roomies (11 nominations). Continue H4Z4RD (7 nominations) and also the fiction series Chantal (6 nominations) and Billy vs Benjamin (6 nominations) and the movie Nowhere (4 nominations) particularly well. These productions also managed to cash in on several nominations: Uncles (4 nominations), Money wolves (3 nominations), lost luggage (2 nominations), Our Nature (2 nominations) and Child Hearts (2 nominations). In addition, the list of nominees once again highlights the high quality of Flemish documentaries and short films.

The members of the Academy will start the second round of voting from now (January 4). This runs until 17 January and determines which nominations are redeemed with an Ensor.
