These are the new Brabanders who were born on New Year’s night

The birth of a new Brabander is always special, but especially when it happens on January 1. In the hospitals in Uden, Tilburg and Eindhoven, Karan, Noah, Melle and Marko Miljenko were the first new Brabant residents of the year. We don’t have to tell you that the brand new ones are proud. The photos say enough.

The first baby was born at 6.41 am in the Bernhoven Hospital in Uden. His name is Karan. He is the son of Ugur and Ferah Akillar. “It was not named after a family member. We just thought it was a beautiful name,” says mother Ugur. Karan has an older sister (4) and brother (3). The family lives in Schijndel.

Noah was born at 6.45 am in the ETZ Hospital in Tilburg. With a weight of almost 3400 grams, he is already a big boy. Noah was born in the hospital’s maternity hotel.

Later in the day it was busy in the maternity ward of the Catharina Hospital in Eindhoven. Within two minutes, two babies were born. Melle Rijkers was born at 2:01 p.m., a minute later Marko Miljenko Zellner.

Melle was born on New Year’s Day at 2:01 PM and will live in Sint -Oedenrode. Melle has another bigger brother, namely Olivier. Marko Miljenko Zellner was born at 2:02 PM. He will live in Eindhoven.
