Candy: Death in Texas (True Crime Miniseries)

The true-crime drama follows the true case of Candy Montgomery, a Texan who was tried in 1980 for the alleged murder of her neighbor Betty Gore. Montgomery – played here by US actress Jessica Biel (“Valentine’s Day”) – is said to have hit her lover’s wife with an ax a total of 41 times. The unusually brutal incident between two housewives caused a great deal of public interest in the 1980s.
Elton John Live: Farewell from Dodger Stadium

After a break due to the pandemic, Elton John is continuing his Farewell Yellow Brick Road farewell tour this year. A special highlight: On November 20, the Rocket Man will play one (probably) last time at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles – the place where the then 28-year-old Briton rose to become a global rock icon with a three-hour concert in 1975. Disney+ subscribers can watch the entire event live from 4:30 p.m. “Feeling the energy of the great fans, (…) this time also from the audience at home all over the world, will really be something very special for me,” enthused John in advance.
