The Record Store Day 2025 will take place this year on April 12th.

The annual Record Store Day, which is celebrated by independent record shops worldwide, has attracted countless music enthusiasts since its introduction in 2008: inside the participating shops. The special thing about the day: To celebrate the day, around 400 limited and exclusive special publications on vinyl, from stars such as U2, David Bowie or Olivia Rodrigo will be available in the selected stores. German musicians also: inside like power plant or the Fantastic Four participate in the campaign. The Record Store Day (RSD for short) will take place in Germany in 2025 on April 12th.

Picture book with “Live in Los Angeles (Picture EP)”

The Austrian rock band is already known far beyond the borders of their homeland. In 2021, the four – Maurice Ernst, Michael Krammer, Peter Horazdovsky and Philipp Scheibl – went on tour in the USA. They also stopped in Los Angeles. The gig in the Fonda Theater will now be published exclusively on April 12th eight songs as live recordings.

Charli XCX with “Number 1 Angel (RSD 2025 Exclusive)” and “Guess Featuring Billie Eilish (RSD 2025 Exclusive)”

After the “Brat” scabbing and her victory at the Grammys, Charli XCX brings out two exclusive vinyl panels on the occasion of the Record Store Day: the plate becomes completely in red “Number 1 Angel” and in black your hit “Guess” with Billie Eilish.

David Bowie with “Ready, Set, Go! RSD 2025 Exclusive “

On September 8, 2003, David Bowie wrote history-with the world’s first interactive interactive live satellite music event, in which he performed his album “Reality” live for the first time and had it transmitted in 26 countries worldwide. For the Record Store Day 2025, the concert including a poster will be released on Vinyl and CD for the first time.

The Rolling Stones with “Out of Our Head Us Version”

“Out of our heads” appears exclusively for the RSD 2025 on 180-gram-clear vinyl with lithography printing. The album released in 1965 was the third UK album (and the fourth US album) of the Rolling Stones and contains the hit “(i can’t get no) satinfaction”.

Nina Hagen (band) – “My Way”

With the release of the 7-inch single in limited edition, Nina Hagen not only celebrates the RSD, but also the 45th anniversary of the song and the associated album “Disease” from 1980.

Joni Mitchell-“1976 US tour”

Joni Mitchell’s “1976 US tour” comprises her live appearances when she toured the country with La Express at the time. The plate contains previously unpublished material and is available for the first time as a 3-lp set on 140g black vinyl.

Liam Gallagher – Acoustic Sessions (RSD 2025 Exclusive)

Liam Gallagher’s “Acoustic Sessions” contains Oasis classic and reduced versions of songs from his 2019 album “Why Me, Why Not”. Originally published in 2020 digitally, the album is now published exclusively for the Record Store Day 2025 on a limited silver blue vinyl output, whereby each copy is hand-pressed and unique.
