There is no doubt that filmmaker Peter Jackson earned quite a bit of pocket money with those much-appreciated projects. But he does not owe the majority of his income to this, but to the sale of the company Weta Digital, with which the visual effects of ‘The Wolverine’ and ‘Lady and the Tramp’ were made. Weta Digital sold part of its assets to Unity Software for 1.4 billion euros. Peter Jackson personally made a little more than 530 million euros in cash and more than 330 million in shares.
