The new waste policy in Zwolle has a twofold effect. Residents have been producing considerably less residual waste since 1 January, but on the other hand, more waste ends up on the street. Better separation of waste streams led to 2.5 million kilos less residual waste in the first three months. However, more than a thousand additional placements were counted.
