This Monday, June 26, they begin a series of works that will alter the mobility in the middle Barcelona and in the accesses to the city beaches all summer. On the one hand, the improvement work on metro line L4 will cut the Verdaguer-Bogatell section until July 31. From August 1 to 28, the stretch without service will be between the Verdaguer and Barceloneta stations. Besides, the tram line T4 It won’t work until August 31 either. On the other hand, the actions to link the tram to Avenida Diagonal will cause traffic disturbances in Mallorca, Valencia and Nàpols streets until September. The action on Line 4 of the metro, the yellow one, includes the comprehensive renovation of six kilometers of track to improve reliability, reduce incidents and reduce vibrations on the road. The partial cut until July 31 affects eight central stations: Verdaguer, Girona, Passeig de Gràcia, Urquinaona, Jaume I, Barceloneta, Ciutadella-Vila Olímpica and Bogatell.
