From Hildburg Bruns
Berlin is fighting for a clean capital with new technology. But a lot of things don’t work so well yet.
►Recycling centers plus: In Gradestrasse (Neukölln), opening hours have been extended to twelve hours a day (except Sunday). Since no more customers come despite a lot of advertising, it is currently not being expanded to other farms.
►Re-use stores: 30 shopping centers were contacted asking whether waste-reducing behavior could be demonstrated on four to five days each – only three malls expressed interest, for example. B. at a mobile exhibition, recipes with leftover food, repair workshops.
►“Ordnungsamt-Online” app: Last year there were 115,449 reports in so-called concern management. A decrease of ten percent! In Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg and Mitte there were around 5,000 reports each. Most frequently reported month: January.
