These are Berlin’s heavenly terraces

By Juergen Wenzel

Sitting relaxed on a terrace of a hotel or restaurant. Enjoying a nice, light meal, a glass in hand. Berlin can be so wonderful…

A place in the sun, Berlin really has enough of that. But which one is really recommended? BZ has made a search for you: for the most beautiful terraces in Berlin, at lofty heights, in shady inner courtyards or in the cooling vicinity of the water.

We looked around and found the right spot, the tastiest snack or the coolest drink for every taste.

If you want to show a visitor a beautiful view of Berlin, then we have an insider tip in addition to the gastro terraces: the viewing platform of the French Cathedral on Gendarmenmarkt is finally open again after years of closure and renovation. Have fun!
