MTV has announced the first acts to perform at the MTV EMAs on November 13th in Dusseldorf. As the broadcaster reported, Ava Max, Bebe Rexha, David Guetta, Gorillaz, Lewis Capaldi and Muse can be heard during the MTV Europe Music Awards ceremony. Other artists are yet to be announced.

The awards are being held in Germany for the sixth time. They are presented by British singer Rita Ora and director Taika Waititi (“Thor:Ragnarok”). MTV broadcasts the award ceremony live in over 170 countries, and it can also be seen in Germany on Pluto TV and Comedy Central.

Numerous artists such as Annie Taylor, Muff Potter, Montreal and Bryce Dessner from The National can be seen in advance as part of MTV Music Week from November 4th to 12th.

Until November 9th at 23:59 Central European Time you can go to mtvema.com vote in 17 categories. The best song or the best artist are awarded, the categories are gender-neutral. Badmómzjay, Kontra K, Giant Rocks, Leony and Nina Chuba have been nominated for “Best German Act”.

The award ceremony is actually sold out, but as part of the “MTV EMA Ticket Challenge”, MTV is still giving out 2,000 standing room tickets in the front rows. During the promotion, fans have to explain in 60 seconds in the PSD Bank Dome from November 4th to 6th why they should get one of the exclusive tickets.
