Singer-songwriter Lisa Ploeger and band from Gieten, DJ Thyrza from Assen and singer-songwriter Marit Nygård from Meppel will show their new music on January 14 at Podium34 in Borger.
The acts have been selected to participate in the northern talent development program Hit the North and receive musical and business guidance for a year. They explain why they got this development place. Performances start at 7:30 PM. Entrance is free.

In addition to the above artists, the bands Seb Zukini (alternative rock), Traversus (progressive metal) and urban artist Dylamic will also perform. They will play at Eurosonic Noorderslag 2023 on January 19 after a year of Hit the North. In Borger they give a taste of the show they play at Eurosonic to music lovers from Drenthe.
Hit the North is a collaboration between the Northern pop umbrella organisations, ESNS and ITGWO. Drentse, Frisian and Groningen pop talents who want to professionalize receive all kinds of workshops and guidance for a year to improve themselves.
