Kristian Heiskari, known from reality television, published an open article about his mental health problems.
Survivors– and Big Brother won the Finnish versions of the programs Kristian Heiskari31, talks about his heavy autumn in his recent Instagram update.
Along with the long article, Heiskari has shared a picture of himself, which was taken in the fall in the healthcare facilities.
– In the fall, the wall hit hard, Heiskari begins his writing.

Heiskari says that during the hectic past few years, he has ignored his thoughts that have been bothering him for a long time and neglected both his friends and himself.
– I thought that everything would be fine when he corrected his lifestyle, without realizing that he should first deal with the issues that were bothering him. I have been disappointed in people many times and I have been disappointed in myself the most, Heiskari writes.
– Making has been sawing for years between manic completion and depressive staring at the walls. There have been two Kriss the whole time, the one who is writing this and the one who has been a shell protecting the first one. This shell was a shield to hide behind that no one or anything could shake. It works like communism, a nice idea on paper, but in practice it doesn’t work at all.

In the end, I ran out of patience and the situation got out of control. Heiskari got help from his friend and from health care. Heiskari thanks his health insurance, which helped him get treatment quickly.
– Now the head is opened in therapy, in a way that I never thought this hardened shithead would ever do. This was just a matter of time and fortunately we got to the edge now, and not in, for example, 2033.
Heiskari says he is currently free. The idea is clearer than it has been in years, thanks to health care and my close circle.
– I emphasize to those who are worried: everything is fine now, finally.
With his writing, Heiskari wants to encourage others to seek help, that you don’t have to wrestle with your own problems alone.

Heiskari told Iltalehte at the end of the year that he ended up in the hospital.
– I went to visit [sairaalassa], when the mood had been so confused for several weeks already. It seemed to go in waves: sometimes it was fine, and sometimes it felt like I was losing my mind, Heiskari opened up about the situation to Iltalehti in December.
– I went there to take a little sleep and rest. After that I was doing nothing for a while, in the nature of a sick leave, he added.
Heiskari didn’t open up about his personal affairs any further at the time, but emphasized that it was the sum of many things.
– Let’s say this was coming sooner or later. It’s good that it happened now, so we can get the guy in shape and move on, Heiskari said.
– Probably every person has things in their life that should be dealt with. I’ve been pretty good at not dealing with things and pushing them more to the side. Life now is a marathon of adversity, and sometimes you should stop and take it easy, so to speak.
In the December interview, Heiskari said that he was undergoing a therapy session.
– I have probably never felt so bright and clear before. However, the last few years have been so hectic, and at no point did I really stop. I thought that just by changing my lifestyle and increasing my exercise, everything would get better. Yes, it will improve for a while, but they won’t help with unresolved issues, Heiskari thought at the time.
– From there [terapiasta] I get lessons that would help prevent this from happening again.
