There is a Dutch artist behind the immense craze of Labubu dolls. Illustrator and painter Kaising Lung grew up in Utrecht and went to school here. Now he looks from Hong Kong how his ‘elves’ conquer the hearts of children and their parents in Western Europe after Asia. The sale of the dolls was stopped until Saturday, because the reselling ‘got out of hand’.
