From Smart Breaks, I fully enjoy the practice of the profession, accompanying clients in the processes of their related legal conflicts.
A good writing, argument, procedural statement, is our client’s letter of introduction and, therefore, ours, before the courts.
One morning I found myself thinking that our children are choosing other paths:
To whom will I leave my legacy after almost 30 years of practicing the profession? With whom do I share my experience and knowledge?
The time that passes during the exercise of the profession is not our enemy, because it allows us to acquire tools, train ourselves and verify this theoretical knowledge through the application in practical cases.
The faculty has a great deficiency in the practice of professional practice.
Putting together my experience and the academic deficiency of the study plans in the exercise of professional practice, gave me the idea of capitalizing on that gap.
I started looking and there was nothing like what I imagined.
This is how Mentoría para Abogados was born.
My idea of a mentor was and is, someone who accompanies the novice in legal training, is not limited to answering questions, but shares his own tools with the professional, so that those who are starting out can find their own answers.
This is how the first Mentoring service arose, Accompaniment of New Lawyer, consisting of four meetings of an hour and a half each, where we analyze the cases of the lawyer who hires the service and if that lawyer does not have his own cases, we analyze cases in real process. of Smart Breaks. The service is one to one. If the lawyers are from the City of Buenos Aires or AMBA, they can attend any hearing with me.
The second service, Supervision of Lawyers, appeared to respond to specific situations, because sometimes lawyers have a case that is stuck and we cannot find a way to move forward. This is a service for the lawyer who already practices and handles his own cases. It consists of being able to consult the proceedings and determine what is preventing you from continuing with the process. The idea is similar to what psychologists do who supervise each other in their practice.
The third service, Lawyers Advice, consists of carrying out the legal framing of the case. Aimed at lawyers who have experience in the practice of the profession, but decide to delegate this task.
Both in Supervision and in Counseling, we have a telephone chat, the preparation of a questionnaire according to the context described in the first one, the review of the actions in the second, and a subsequent meeting where the return is made.
