Theft of kitchen robots: four suspects arrested
Last year the big theft was at wholesaler Cnudde in Beveren-Leie near Waregem. They made off with about a thousand kitchen robots and vacuum cleaners. This week there were searches in the Brussels, Flemish Brabant and East Flanders region. Special units of the federal police and local police services raided warehouses, business premises, catering establishments and houses.
Still looking for suspects
Five suspects were arrested and questioned by investigators from the Federal Judicial Police,” says the prosecutor. “The investigating judge has arrested four of them. They will appear in court on Friday. A number of other suspects are still actively being traced.”
