Oedipus on the Thames
In 1980 Greek style (Greek) it was staged for the first time in London. In 1992 Elio De Capitani brought it to Italy with great success and today he proposes it again demonstrating that, after 30 years, Steven Berkoff’s text – which reinterprets the myth of Oedipus – has not lost its bite or its political-social demands.
De Capitani directs and plays Laio, Marco Bonadei is Eddy, Cristina Crippa the Sphinx, Sara Borsarelli is Jocasta.
