The yard of a house on the Dordsedijk in Barger Oosterveen between Klazienaveen and Weiteveen is currently being cleared by the municipality of Emmen.
The municipality is assisted by the police and security is also on site. Next to the house is a large collection area with wooden pallets, iron barrels, trailers and agricultural implements.
The municipality is taking action because the situation is intolerable. There is also a danger to traffic due to placement along the public road and residents from the area complained about the collection point.
