Summer’s best barbecue side dish comes from zucchini.
Mari Moilanen
Here it is. The world’s fastest and easiest summer side dish for grilled delicacies: crushed zucchini seasoned with crispy garlic and chili-sesame oil.
Mari Moilanen the recipe is easy even easier.
– It’s perfect for those moments when there’s nothing but zucchini and something to grill in the cupboard and everyone’s screamingly hungry. This delicious dish is on the table in no time, Moilanen describes Something tasty in his blog.
The same thing happened to Moilasen:
– There was chicken and zucchini in the cupboard, so I decided to make slim, domestic zucchini in the style of Asian crushed cucumbers and season them with my favorite oil. It was a hit.
In the spring, Iltalehti wrote how chili-sesame oil has quickly conquered the Finns. The oil gives the food a delicious Asian touch.
According to Moilanen, the porous zucchini absorbs flavors well and the strong taste of the oil is smoothed out nicely.
– Two zucchinis lost their way.
