Among the world’s top restaurants, there are two Nordic gems.
The Peruvian restaurant Central has been chosen as the best restaurant in the world. The second, third and fourth places in the 50 best restaurants in the world are Spanish restaurants. Travelers to Spain who like good food should check out the country’s restaurant offerings, as there are several top places in the world in different parts of Spain.
In fifth place on the list of the world’s best restaurants, Nordic know-how shines. Alchemist, located in Copenhagen, was ranked as the fifth best restaurant in the world in a recent list. We can talk about a wedge, because last year the restaurant was ranked 18th as a newcomer.
The world’s top level can be found even closer from a Finnish tourist’s point of view. The restaurant Frantzén, located a boat trip away in Stockholm, can be found at number 30 on the recent list. The recognition the restaurant has received is no wonder, as the Frantzén restaurant has no less than three Michelin stars. Frantzén was found on the list of the world’s best restaurants last year as well, at the 25th place at that time.
