The world’s best pancake is insanely popular: “Truly lives up to its name”

The world’s best pancake recipe does not disappoint. That’s why it has already been viewed almost 13 million times in Kotikoki.

One pancake recipe has been garnering praise online for years, and the recipe’s popularity shows no signs of waning. This is the recipe service Kotikokki.net’s most popular recipe of all time, i.e the best pancake in the world. You uploaded the recipe to the service Heli Haapamäki in 2006. The recipe had been on his journey for years, ever since the early 80s.

– I was a nursing student and I did gig work on weekends and holidays. It was Midsummer’s Eve and a quiet night at work. Midsummer roses had been brought to the table, their scent has remained in my mind. I was looking through women’s magazines and found a pancake recipe in one of the magazines. The recipe sounded so nice that I started writing it down while sitting at the table, Haapamäki told Pippuri.fi in 2017.

The pancake turned out to be just as good as the recipe had sounded, so it quickly became Haapamäki’s reference for credit. In 2006, he decided to share it in Kotikokki to make other cooks happy.

The recipe quickly became a favorite on the site. In 2017, it had already collected 6.2 million views.

– This is incomprehensible! I would never have thought that a recipe would become so popular. I’m really taken by this and so are my loved ones, Haapamäki was surprised by the popularity the recipe got to Pippuri.fi at the time.

Currently, the pannari recipe has been viewed no less than 13,855,782 times. The recipe is praised on the site as, among other things, living up to its name and as a perennial favorite.
