Thousands of puck fans headed to Frenckellinaukio in the center of Tampere, where the city built a stage of three water jets lit in blue and white on the final day.
– Absolutely great, the PR value for Finland is great. Good boys! students Mirjam, Alina, Miisa and Tia celebrate.
The boys took off their shirts as Jutti’s “Now Rattled” rap and Lord’s Hard Rock Hallelujah echoed through the speakers.
Rockets were fired and flags fluttered.
– I was at the Arena, there was Haloo Helsinki, the Prime Minister and Räikkönen. The night of my life, a fan dancing to the beat of Sandstorm.
The fire station next to the square had brought two fire trucks with alarm lights into the yard in honor of the Lions.
