The work of Romina Graziani

Apparently these assessments do not seem to define the same person.
However, these oppositions are what could describe the work of the Plastic Artist Romina Graziani.

A born intuitive, the Artist navigates the wide world of painting in a playful way, in which the spontaneity of her textures and gestures are combined with a solid base structure that supports and balances her extensive work.

A temperamental, emotional and sensitive painter, Romina offers us a journey through her vast world of images in which the freedom of texture and color are undisputed protagonists that invite us to explore her energetic personal world.

– You have exhibited in a large number of galleries both in Argentina and abroad. Could you share any memorable experiences from any of these exhibitions and your latest experience at Miami Art Week 2023?

This art week in Miami I exhibited in two galleries in Miami and it was really incredible. It is by far my favorite week, I had the privilege of being able to participate in the Color Sense Project located in an area that is growing a lot in the art field, where several new galleries are opening. There I exhibited the nautical series and the exhibition will be until the end of the month. On the other hand, I participated with two works in the Cariana Kemelmajer Gallery in Miami Lakes, a beautiful area north of Miami.

I have held several exhibitions in Argentina, many of them at the Gallery Night in Buenos Aires, which is a cultural tour that was born in 2001. In them, the galleries and art spaces of the city of Buenos Aires open their doors and They can see both established artists and also discover new talents.

I also exhibited in several galleries, such as Juana de Arte in Martínez pcia. of Buenos Aires, also at the Pilar Cultural Center, at Carlos Keen, at the Pilar Book Fair, at the Dazzler Hotel, at Bullary in San Isidro, Recoleta Club del Bridge, in the contest of the Telviso cooperative of the party of Pilar, among others. Abroad I exhibited at Spectrum, at art week in Miami 2021 and in Italy in an exhibition inspired by women “Arte e Donna”, Museo Diocesano e Capitolare di Terni, where I was awarded a special mention

How would you describe your artistic style and what inspires you to create works reminiscent of naval scenes in acrylic?

From a very young age I liked nautical, water, sailing: it is something that I still like today, water transmits something special to me and it was my inspiration for many of my works, both nautical and abstract. Abstraction is incredibly interesting to me at the moment of closing the work, which is when the observer stands in front of it, since reality is not represented as it is, it is not something concrete, it is not something known, but rather it is proposed. a new reality that is reinterpreted by whoever observes it and can change as many times as observers contemplate it. This generates freedom for me, it amuses me, it intrigues me, it generates expectations and at the same time it surprises me. In abstraction I do not feel subject to being faithful to this reality and thus it allows me to play with subjectivity in its entirety.
