The woman who was found dead inside a vehicle in Torroella de Montgrí (Baix Empordà) would have received several stab wounds and would be a local resident of about 45 years oldsources close to the case have reported.
The woman was in whereabouts unknown since Saturday and, not being able to contact her, her relatives went to inform the police, and finally this afternoon she could have been located thanks to the location of her mobile phone, on a dirt road secondary to the one that leads to the mouth of the Ter river, in the area known as the Gola del Ter.

The vehicle was found in an area of fields, little traveled, about 3-4 kilometers from Torroella and 5 or 6 km from the neighboring town of Pals.
Agents from the Criminal Investigation Division (AIC) of Girona are investigating the circumstances of the death and trying to reconstruct the last hours of the victim’s life, who had lived in Torroella for years and had several children.
