Totti and his ex-wife Ilary Blasi filed for divorce last summer after being married for 17 years. Totti had found out that his wife was cheating on him with another man. The couple has three children.
The court has now decided that the football icon must pay Blas 12,500 euros in maintenance payments per month.
The decision did not please Blas. She hoped to receive monthly maintenance payments of up to 24,000 euros from her ex-husband. With various side costs, the amount the woman demanded rose to almost 30,000 euros.
Blasi will continue to live in the couple’s old luxury villa. The family’s youngest daughter stays with her mother, while the two older brothers live alternately with their father and mother.
