This week, informant Sybrand Buma presented his interim report in the formation. D66 and CDA had reached agreement on five themes. One of these is the long-term nitrogen dossier. After a year and a half of standstill, these two parties promise breakthroughs on this difficult dossier. A promise that the current outgoing Minister of Agriculture, Femke Wiersma, also made, but little came of it.

In these Hague Affairs, investigative journalists Esther Rosenberg and Derk Stokmans talk about how Wiersma has worked over the past year and a half. You will hear how such a reconstruction is achieved, how Wiersma operates behind the scenes and what that means for the nitrogen file.
