The Weeknd had just started his monster hit “Can’t Feel My Face” when he suddenly lost his voice and walked off stage, Billboard writes. Later he did come back on stage, with the regrettable announcement that he would stop the concert. “I don’t know what just happened when I yelled, but I’ve lost my voice,” said the visibly affected Canadian. “I can’t give you the concert I want. I’m going to make sure it’s okay for everyone, that you get your money back and you get a real show soon,” it sounded. “But I wanted to apologize in person and not just let you know via Twitter or Instagram. I wanted you to know that I can’t give what I want. I excuse me for that, I’m so sorry.” He later added: “You know how awful I think this is. I love you. Thank you.”
