The Weeknd confirms: New album “in completion”

With the record he will complete his trilogy. You don’t know the album title (yet).

The Weeknd has confirmed that he is “finishing his new album”. The forthcoming record will complete the trilogy that has included 2020’s AFTER HOURS and 2022’s DAWN FM. The singer, who recently announced that he wants to ditch his current stage name, gave the update on the new work in an interview with Variety.

Upcoming album title: Fans are wrong

Speaking about the title, the musician, whose name is Abel Tesfaye, said: “The name of the album will be announced soon, but it’s not called what some fans think … they think the title is based on the name of a song on the album album, but that’s not really the name of the album. I can already reveal that much.”
