The week of Drenthe: Tips against the heat and a special stowaway

The heat wave is in full swing in the Netherlands and Friday we went looking for some tips to provide some cooling ourselves. White, whiter, whitest is the advice of Geert Starre of Natuurwacht Drenthe. “That reflects the heat. And it does not heat up. So the heat does not enter the house.” Starre set out with his thermal camera to look for the hottest spots. As an example, he takes the difference between black and gray tiles. “There is black gravel there, I immediately see that it rises to above 50 degrees.
