The weather forecast for Sunday 9 July

The various models always show a different timing, but almost all models do show those showers. As things stand, they are likely to develop in the afternoon and could turn into heavy showers.

A lot of rain can fall in a short time, with thunderstorms, hail and gusts of wind. Some models show a well-developed storm line that could move through our region with strong winds. That will be something to keep track of!

Also towards the evening we can expect a number of rain and thunderstorms here and there and especially inland. The minima remain very soft in the night to Monday and are again around 15 degrees or more. The showers then disappear from the weather picture.
