The fiftieth edition of Breda Jazz Festival has started: until Sunday evening the city will be filled with live jazz music. Because of the anniversary there is not only music in the city center for the first time, but there are also outdoor stages outside the singles. Enthusiasts can enjoy every day from home via Jazztalk, a BredaNu talk show presented by Eefke Boelhouwers. And it can be viewed here.
Breda Jazz Festival lasts until Sunday. Tens of thousands of visitors are expected every day. The first days were already a great success: people enjoyed and danced throughout the city. “It’s back to how it used to be. Very nice to be here,” said one of the visitors on Thursday. “Fantastic to hear your favorite music genre on every corner of the street.”
Watching Jazz Talk
Former Omroep Brabant radio presenter Eefke Boelhouwers will present Jazztalk all weekend, live from brewery café Brack in Breda. In the talk show you will see reports from the swinging city center, live music and various guests. In addition, we look back at the past fifty years of the Breda Jazz Festival, with old images and stories.
