The Vermeersch family commemorates José Vermeersch with three exhibitions

The commemoration is an initiative of the Vermeersch family and the non-profit organization Atelier Vermeersch, at the request of Westtoer. The family members have inherited the artificial genes and also play a role in the commemoration year around José Vermeersch.

The exhibition in Lendelede is not a retrospective, because the images come from the family collection. Lendelede, where José’s studio is, remains the base, but there are also exhibitions in Rumbeke and Kortrijk.
