The Recording Academy, which runs the Grammy gala, has changed the rules related to receiving the music award.
With advanced artificial intelligence, music that is not created by humans is excluded from the gala’s categories. In the future, every song must be human-made, meaning that music created entirely by artificial intelligence will not be rewarded.
– A work that has no human authorship at all is not eligible for an award in any category, says the association of music professionals.
Technology can still be used, but artificial intelligence cannot create the entire song. Only a human can receive the award.
