Finland suffered its opening loss in a tournament for under-18s. The Finnish national hockey team for girls under the age of 18 lost to the United States early Wednesday morning. The USA was stronger 5-0 in its World Cup home tournament. The first installment ended for the United States 2-0. There were no goals in the second installment. Finland surrendered three times in the final round.
